Effect of Lithology on Mechanical and Damage Behaviors of Concrete in Concrete-Rock Combined Specimen

A concrete structure built on rock foundation works together with the connected mass, which has a significant effect mechanical behaviors of structure. To study lithology and damage in concrete-rock combined specimen (CRCS), first, test method for measuring part (concrete CRCS) is adopted, then, uniaxial compression tests seven types specimens are performed acoustic emission (AE) events simultaneously monitored. Test results show that low-strength plays major role fracture behavior CRCS. When CRCS failed, sudden stress drop happens CRCS, (rock experiences rapid axial strain recovery intensifies failure part. The load-bearing deformation capacities increase strength part, but shows opposite under influence Furthermore, mainly formed extent positively correlated Finally, constitutive model established validated. This can be used to accurately describe response loading.
